Who we are

What we collect, and why

When you request a quote, our consultation form asks for your name, phone number, an optional email address, a message describing what you have in mind, an optional budget band, and optional reference files or a link. We ask for exactly what we need to understand your request and reply with an itemised quotation — nothing is collected beyond that.

What you submit is stored in our internal order-management system, where it stays attached to your enquiry so the same team can pick up the conversation, prepare your quotation, and — if you go ahead — see your commission through to delivery and installation.

Reference files you attach are stored with our order-management system’s file hosting under a randomly generated name. They aren’t listed or searchable anywhere public, but the address itself isn’t behind a login — treat it like a private link. We delete reference files within 90 days of your enquiry closing (or, if you commission a piece, within 90 days of delivery), and sooner if you ask.

Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails — notes from the workshop, new pieces, offers — if you tick the separate consent box when you submit a form. Ticking it is never required to get your quote. You can unsubscribe at any time, from any email we send.

Launch notifications

If you leave your email to be notified when we open, we use it to send that one launch note — and, only if you also tick the box for occasional notes from the making, the updates you asked for. Unsubscribe anytime.

Your Dream List

The pieces you save to your Dream List live only in your own browser’s local storage — we never see them. Your Dream List reaches us only if you choose to submit it alongside your contact details as part of a consultation request.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages get visited, roughly how many people, from where. It works without cookies and without building a profile tied to you as an individual.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare your itemised quotation.
• To coordinate your order — production, delivery and installation.
• To support you under warranty, after your piece is delivered.
• To keep the records Indian law requires us to keep.
• To send marketing or launch updates, only where you have consented.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers who help us operate — our order-management system, our email provider (Resend) for the notifications and replies tied to your request, and the delivery partners we use to get a piece to your home — and only to the extent each needs to do that job. We do not share your information with advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as it serves your enquiry or your relationship with us — through any live order and its warranty period — plus whatever period the law requires us to retain records for. After that, it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to ron@customfurniture.store and we’ll act on it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you share with us against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top. For anything else on how we do business, see our terms of use.
